Sustainable Fashion

Hi readers! Sorry for not posting yesterday, but to make it up, we're posting today instead! So, here is a continuation of sustainable fashion month!

Today, we'll be learning about clothing swap

Clothing Swap: Organise a clothing swap with friends or family to exchange clothes, that way you get some different clothes to wear while being sustainable!

Facts on clothing swap:

1) Clothing swapsplay a crucial role in promoting  sustainable fashion by reducing the demand for new garments. By reusing and recycling clothes, we can significantly minimise the amount of clothing that ends up in landfills, conserving resources and reducing the carbon footprint associated with clothing production.

2) Swapping clothing can help you get new clothing for free, prevent clothing from going to the landfill and reduce consumption of virgin resources.

How to take care of your clothes so they last longer:

1)Sort your washing properly. Separate darks from whites but also keep heavy fabrics away from light ones.

2)Dry cleaning is terrible for your clothes – and the environment for that matter – as it uses harsh chemicals that damage fabrics over time.
